| i'm back home! boy, it was sure an adventure checking out of the apartment. haha, we were all running around like chickens with their head cut off. we were still cleaning during check-off, basically. BUT, we did it. we got it done. and now we've all parted for the summer...and more :(. so far, break has been good. i've tried getting ready to get organized around here. it's going to take a while. i got my glasses adjusted. oh yes, glasses aren't meant to be worn on your feet. that's what the guy at the glasses repair spot told me. i had gotten my glasses mixed up with my shoes. that's how bad i need glasses, i guess. anyway, i did that while brian went and picked up oh, say, something from some jewelry store that happened to call while we were on a walk :) i wonder what that could be. any ideas? i finally got to watch a red wings game. it only took me until the conference finals to see one. calvin really needs to get channels that show hockey. i missed it. anyway, i'm extremely tired. i am going to pick up my grandma and aunt tomorrow at the airport. it will be good to see them. for now, it's time for sleep. take care all! | | |
| dinner has been quite fun. haha, sam, you and those flinging peas.
you're right, they are a slippery veggie. i guess we need to invest in
more rough-age like veggies. ones that will stick when you grab 'em.
like cauliflour--yum! and then tonight's dinner adventure. tonight,
with those water guns! i can't believe how much water we had all over
the floor. haha, my mom would love to hear about it...it sure never
happens in her kitchen!....unless it's just dad around.

| so, i contemplated not writing anything for another 4 days...afterall,
it's so close to a year that i haven't written on here. *shrugs* BUT, i
had a very exciting weekend and day, the summer is nearing, and well,
what the heck. i'm not sure if the girls are going to encourage writing
on here this summer...it's not like i'm going to have any exciting
happenings this summer or anything (hehe) but in case they do encourage
writings or happen to know what i'm up to, i can pipe up and say i'm
totally on top of things because i wrote an entry already. will anybody
read this anyway?
can you believe i remembered a password i haven't used for a year? that
means the password was too easy. no, that's not a lisence to guess it
and write things on my behalf.
so, i went to the labor and delivery floor today. i witnessed two
vaginal deliveries. i think that's the first time i wrote vaginal
anywhere but on clinical paperwork. kinda weird. anyway, it was
exciting to see. it kinda makes you think twice about every getting
pregnant, but then, you think a few more seconds and think, how cool is
it that God made our bodies to do such a thing. one day of pain is
worth such a precious gift....but don't tell me that during labor.
i'm excited for dinner.
